State-of-the-Art Manufacturing
Opening in 1981 of AFICO’s manufacturing facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia to meet the fast-expanding need for fiberglass insulation. Inauguration of a new, fully automated AFICO factory on nearby. Premises in 2014. This was purposedesigned in conjunction with Owens Corning to incorporate the latest and most advanced technology in the world. Today, AFICO has an annual capacity of 24,000 mt. This led the way for AFICO to introduce a wider range and larger sizes of energyefficient, environmentally friendly fiberglass insulation products to the marketplace. All products are made to the highest international quality specifications which, in turn, support the drive of government authorities and official agencies to implement more stringent building code requirements, mainly aimed at increasing energy efficiency and improving fire safety. With a well-educated and trained local workforce, AFICO’s people are able to provide advice and guidance on the best application of fiberglass products in all circumstances. Regular re-training is undertaken to ensure that employees are kept abreast of industry developments, transportation issues, environmental laws and safety standards.
