Safe and Easy in Use

Safe and Easy in Use

Fiberglass is one of the most closely studied and thoroughly tested building materials, following over 80 years of extensive research and comprehensive reviews by independent experts. These have conclusively proved the safety of the material. No other insulation material has enjoyed the same long and successful history of scrutiny and testing as fiberglass.

AFICO complies with all international standards in its manufacturing operation. The company is committed to ensuring that health and safety protocols are maintained at the highest level, with all staff properly trained and supplied with the latest safety equipment, clothing and systems.

In addition, the company offers an advisory service for its clients, working closely with its joint venture partner, Owens Corning.

Owens Corning is the acknowledged global leader in ensuring the safe manufacturing and application of fiberglass insulation materials. In 2017, the company received the Asthma and Allergy Friendly certification for its Pure Safety™ high-performance insulation. In 2014, the US National Safety Council awarded Owens Corning its Green Cross for Safety medal.

In addition, Owens Corning received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2015 Corporate Equality Index released by the Human Rights Campaign. The company has been recognized on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for several consecutive years.
